Alpine Choppers was formed in 2004 to meet the growing need for specialist helicopter services in the lower part of the South Island. They are a group of local pilots who have joined together to form New Zealand's top specialist helicopter services operation based in Queenstown. Their pilots have thousands of hours experience between them operating in these mountains.
The driving force behind the company is to give all of their customers a totally enjoyable experience and stunning scenic flights.

- Lake Wakatipu & The Remarkables: This short flight includes a landing on top of the Remarkables and unparalleled views over Queenstown and the surrounding area. The perfect introduction to the area this flight can be easily extended to take in additional features.
- Skippers Canyon with Landing: Scenic flight through Skipper Canyon and beyond. Skippers is one of the richest areas in history and gold mining in New Zeland. Full of things to see and photograph.
- Cecil Peak Scenic Flight and Landing: Never been in a helicopter before? This short flight is perfect for your first time. Once you have sampled the awesome sights and the wonder of helicopter rides you will be back for more.
- Mt Aspiring National Park: Mount Aspiring and the Glaciers with Alpine Landings. A longer flight into the Southern Alps and Mount Aspiring National Park. - Milford Sound: Alpine Choppers can take you and your party into Milford Sound from either Wanaka or Queenstown. - Milford Sound: Fly Cruise Fly: This option includes the same spectacular flight as the 'Milford Sound' with the added extra of the close up experience in the sound where you will see waterfalls, more beautiful landscape, pure ocean and on many occasions get to see dolphins and seals. This is a superb option for those who want to relax and spend a longer period of time over there.
- Doubtful Sound: Everyone or most know of Milford Sound but did you know that Doubtful Sound is many times larger? There is only one road in there that is private, made for the construction of the underground Hydro electric dam at Lake Manapouri. To see this place is like going back in time 1000 years or more.
