An evening at the Colonel's Homestead, Walter Peak, is the perfect end to an action-packed day. Enjoy high country hospitality and a carvery style buffet, featuring the best of New Zealand's succulent roast meats and fresh seafood, along with garden-fresh vegetables and salads.
You'll find our mouth-watering range of homemade desserts hard to resist! An entertaining after dinner show provides a glimpse into farming life with sheep dogs and sheep shearing.
On your return cruise aboard the TSS Earnslaw to Queenstown, relax with a drink in the saloon, stroll on the moonlit deck or join in a lively sing-along around the piano. Cruising back across Lake Wakatipu with the lights of Queenstown drawing nearer is a magical sight.
Walter Peak BBQ Lunch Dining:
Combine a lake cruise and a guided farm visit with a barbecue lunch. The barbecue is freshly prepared and served to you either on the lakeside terrace or inside the Homestead. Fresh salads and crusty bread perfectly complement the food sizzling on the grill. Before or after the barbecue there is time for you to see the farm animals and to join in the farmyard walking tour.
