The Ziplines are gravity fed, so you don't have to worry about controlling your own speed. Two tour guides accompany guests

The latest thrill-seeking activity to hit Queenstown, Ziptrek Ecotours is a spectacular and exhilarating flying fox eco-adventure through the forest canopy, situated on Skyline Gondola hill.
Harness up and feel the wind in your face as you "Zziippp" down break-taking flying foxes which traverse down the mountain tree to tree. Their experienced guides launch and receive you at each tree deck, so you are able to sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.
Gaze at the spectacular views of Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkable mountain range as the guides deliver light-hearted but interesting details on local history, myths, legends and ecological principals at each suspended tree-house.

With two tours to choose from it is suitable for everyone, whether looking for an introduction into Queenstown adventure or wanting the latest gripping eco-exhilaration, featuring the steepest tree to tree flying fox in the world.
Moa 4-Line Tour: Ziptrek Queenstown's original course which is a classic aerial flying fox journey at the top of Skyline Gondola hill, finishing with a short return walk. It is the perfect starter to your adventure experience. The Moa encompasses four flying foxes that glide you down cables, designed to start low and slow and build your wingless skills as you go longer, higher and faster. Appeals to everyone and great for groups.
Kea 6-Line Tour: For those with an enhanced appetite for adrenaline and wanting to finish back in town. The Kea encompasses and extends the Moa course with two extra flying foxes and a stunning guided trek through ancient native beech forest. The awe-inspiring finale is the steepest tree to tree flying fox in the world.
NOTE:
the minimum youth age on the Kea 6-Line tour is 6yrs.
Tours run throughout the day, every day of the year and operate in all weather conditions
- Guests are encouraged to wear suitable outdoor clothing
- Tours include light stair climbing and trail walking ~ Guests must be able to walk unassisted
- Weight and age restrictions apply
- Reservations are strongly recommended
- Closed toed footwear is required
- Ages 6 years old and up (please advise us if children are under 30kg/65 lbs at time of booking) to participate in a Ziptrek Ecotour (Moa and Kea).
- Ziptrek offer Tandem Zip-lining for all guests under the min weight requirement of 30kgs / 65 lbs but is only available on the Moa Tour. This must be pre-booked and is limited to two tandems per tour so must be requested at the time of the reservation.
- Upper weight limit 125 kg
- Guest must be a minimum of 15 years old to zip without a guardian
- All minors (18 years and under) require a guardian signature on their waiver
